I missed this, but PolitiFact, desperately trying to improve Liar Scott Walker's percentage, "fact checked" whether Wisconsin is called the Badger State because of early lead miners! Guess what? He got a "true."
Next week, Politifact will check Walker's claims that his wife's name is Tonette, and that Madison is the state capital.
