Whether it is insensitivity or his usual "up-yours" style, Gov. Scott Walker could not have picked a worse day to appoint Phil Montgomery as chair of the state Public Service Commission.
Montgomery, a former Republican state legislator, is a rabid pro-nuclear advocate who delights in calling it "clean, green nuclear power."
Ask people in Japan how clean and green it is. Ask about safety, too.
