SOLAR FLARE: Mark Neumann runs against Obama stimulus while taking stimulus money

[img_assist|nid=76352|title=Neumann|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=155|height=124]Ex-GOP congressman Mark Neumann is running for public office yet again after losing out to Scott Walker in the GOP 2010 gubernatorial primary. This time he's out to replace retiring Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl. But Neumann ought instead to consider taking charge of the US Department of Hypocrisy.

You see, Neumann's yet another conservative politician businessman who says one thing while doing the opposite. Neumann, who owns a construction firm, received solar energy grants of $80,000 and tax credits totaling $750,000 from the 2009 Obama economic stimulus package. You know, the package that tea baggers like Neumann vehemently opposed.

Which suggests a Neumann country-western campaign song in the making: "Baby gimme that terrible money from your bad White House, because together we're makin' music."

Were Neumann to win, then Wisconsin would be represented in the US Senate by two Republican businessmen (the other being the plastic, plastics heir Ron Johnson) who have taken advantage of federal funds or tax incentives while campaigning against such programs.

And if you're a voter, that's all ye need know.
