It would appear that Justice David Prosser was sworn in early and privately for his term which starts Aug. 1, by some fat guy in a robe.
There is no mention in the news media, which probably weren't notified, simply a photo on the Facebook wall of Vicki McKenna, a Madison hate radio host. That's all in keeping with how we do business in Fitzwalkerstan.
UPDATE: From McKenna's Facebook page, it appears this took place in Appleton on Tuesday: "“Nearly 35 years ago, my career as a public servant began as Outagamie District Attorney and it is only appropriate that I returned today to accept the honor of continuing my service on the Supreme Court. The Honorable Harold Froehlich, longtime mentor and friend administered the oath, joining me at the private ceremony was my family and a handful of close friends.
I am honored and humbled to have once again earned the trust of the public. I accept the charge of returning to the demanding work of the court with no-less a commitment than I approached public service over three decades ago.”
