Feingold finally regained his footing a few weeks and had serious traction with his "creative destruction" ad about fair trade.
Inexplicably, they pulled both that ad and ran ads on veterans, social security and Ron Johnson not giving details.
Now, Feingold's new ad features four women talking about Russ Feingold on a wide variety of issues... except fair trade. The ad is OK, but its not going to do it.
I'll be the ten thousandth person to say, but its true: If this is a referendum on the economy, Feingold loses, but if its an election Feingold will win.
People need to know that out of ALL the countries in the world, USA is dead last when it comes to trade balance-- while China is first. And few places in the country have been hit harder by this trade imbalance than right here in Wisconsin. The best thing, is that this one of those issues that most voters already know in their gut to be true and Johnson has said some incredibly stupid things about both free trade and trade with China.
Feingold still has time for a solid punch and that punch needs to be on fair trade.
