Ron Johnson, the Most Unqualified Senator in Wisconsin History, Attacks Al Franken's Qualifications to be a Senator

Better watch your back in the Senate cloakroom, Ron.

In an interview with Fox News after the election, Ron Johnson opined that the problem with third party candidates is that you get unqualified people in the Senate, like Al Franken, saying:

The only thing a third party does is elect folks like Al Franken, so I think you've got to join that two party system.

Johnson is presumably referring to third-party candidate Dean Barkely getting about 15% of the vote in the 2008 photo finish between Franken and Coleman.  However, it was widely acknowledged at the time that Barkely hurt Franken more than Coleman:

Independence Party candidate Dean Barkley drew 8% support in the poll. Jacobs said that was undermining Franken more than Coleman.

In any event, Johnson's point is clearly that Al Franken is unqualified to be a Senator, which completly preposterous coming from Ron Johnson.  Did Al Franken get into Harvard with the help of his gazillionaire father-in-law?  Did Al Franken get on SNL with the help of his gazillionaire father-in-law? Host a public policy radio show? Write several best selling political books?

Yeah, he doesn't hold a candle to you, Ron.
