Today, the Republican Party of Wisconsin launched a website attacking Russ Feingold for teaching a course at Stanford; supporting President Obama; and the budget deficit.

I hate to give the RPW pointers, but these attacks are all barking up the wrong trees.

Stanford was Ronald Reagan's favorite school and is Jim Sensenbrenner's alma mater.  Unlike 2010, the latest Marquette Poll has Obama's approval rating above water in Wisconsin-- trying to tether Feingold to Obama won't hurt him this time around.  And do you really want to talk about the deficit, when Johnson is on the record saying "I'm not totally opposed to some  deficit spending" and has never met a military spending bill (or another expensive war) that he doesn't like?
