Wisconsin's Senior Senator in Waiting, Ron Johnson (remember him?) had a few inconsistencies in his campaign last year. But he was always sure whose side he was on when it came to consumers vs. Big Oil.

Now gas is $4 a gallon and the oil companies are wallowing in profits, but Johnson voted Tuesday against ending $21-billion in tax breaks for the five largest oil companies.

The bill got 52 votes, but needed 60 to pass.

The Dems want to know whether RoJo owns stock in those companies. Whether he does or not, they have an investment in him.

So far he's only gotten $122,000 in dirty energy money, nearly $90,000 of its from oil companies, but give the guy a chance. He's only been in office since January and hasn't found the spigot yet. Even multi-millionaires need a little help from their friends now and then, it seems.

Missing Herb Kohl already. Not to mention Russ Feingold.
