So let me get this straight:


The REPUBLICANS might circulate recall petitions against Scott Walker to make sure the election is in April, with the GOP presidential primary, which would help him?


The Washington Post's Greg Sargent seems to think that could happen.  I don't.  Someone's overthinking this and trying to be too smart by half.


We've seen some crazy things happen in this recall process, but that one is too bizarre to imagine. 


There has been some back and forth between the Dem party and activists about whether to push ahead with a recall as soon as it becomes legal, or whether to wait and time it for the November election.


There's little doubt that an April recall would be Walker's best scenario.  But it's hard to imagine the GOP collecting 500,000 signatures to recall their guy.
