The August dog days bring Republican dirty tricks from Big Ag candidates running in central Wisconsin, assembly district 72 and senate district 24.

One major supporter of polluters, State Rep. Scott Krug (R-Nekoosa), is running against water warrior David Gorski, the Democratic Party nominee in assembly district 72.

Big Ag's Patrick Testin is challenging water warrior State Sen. Julie Lassa (D-Stevens Point) in senate district 24. Krug and Testin now draw derision as the "fecal freaks," because of Krug and Testin's protection of manure polluters.

Reports from central Wisconsin indicate a sleazy push-polling outfit, (from 715 575 3798, Pureless Network, VoiP in Stevens Point), is working with both Krug and Testin.

Anything associated with Krug and Testin is expected to be shady, but this push-poll call is tasteless.

The push-poll call asks several questions critical of David Gorski, beginning with 'Did you know,' 'Would you be more willing,' and several questions about Scott Krug, all of which are positive.

Krug's 2014 assembly campaign featured sleazy, dark-money mailings, (reportedly coordinated with Krug), criticizing Krug's opponent.

What makes the latest push-poll over-the-top is the push-poll caller asserts David Gorski is against the popular Wisconsin Home Heath Care, a lie that cuts deep.

Gorski was the primary caregiver at home for his wife who passed away from early-onset Alzheimer's in Sept 2015, and the retired mental health counselor Gorski lists as one of his passions, innovations such as home healthcare.

The Gorski campaign declined comment.

Water warriors refuses to engage the likes of Scott Krug and Patrick Testin out of a sense of revulsion.
