First it was Senators Dan Kapnanke and Randy Hopper, now Wisconsin Dems have announced Senator Luther Olsen has joined the 2011 Recall Party!
Olsen's 14th District leans Republican, but Dems are buoyed by a Public Policy Polling poll that showed Olsen's approval rating at only 33% and losing to a generic Democrat, 49-47.
Meanwhile, Republicans are reassured by the recent Supreme Court election, where Prosser won the district by about 55-45.
Olsen, was of course, against Walker's scheme to kill collective bargaining before he was against, condemning the plan as "pretty radical" when it was first unveiled. Now, Olsen is saying that there was no flip-flop: that when he said "pretty radical" he didn't mean it as an insult.
Ah-ha.
