Public financing has allowed both Justice David Prosser and Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg, the two candidates in Tuesday's general election for the court, to avoid taking money from people who might come before them at the court.. -- Journal Sentinel editorial titled, "The law is working"

 Right. Prosser let Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce write the court's ethics rules, which allow WMC to spend $1.3-million on his behalf while Prosser continues to hear their cases.

What's not to like about that?

WMC can't give to him directly, but it's no secret how much they're spending to try to save him and the WMC agenda.
