Thus, it's very, very, very, very important to send money to the impoverished Republican Party so it can add ONE more House seat and thus change the entire political landscape of the nation. Never minding that the GOP enjoys a tremendous majority in the House already, PRibus (that's not a typo) emails:

A Sienna Research Institute poll released Aug. 10 showed Democrat David Weprin ahead of his GOP rival, conservo-bidnessman Bob Turner, by a 6-point margin. Pribus claims the race has since closed to a tie, a probable overstatement but one worth taking to heart since many voters appear to remain undecided. The Ninth District is a Truman-esque, working-class district and nothing should be taken for granted.
Of course, the main GOP agenda is to embarrass Democrats in a nominally strong Democratic House district, helping create a media meme that the 2012 GOP tide is now beginning. Well, let's nip that little meme in the bud. A lot of out-staters sent money to aid Wisconsin Democrats in the recent recall elections. Now it's time to return the favor.
