PPP Poll: Majority of Wisconsinites Don't Think Solidarity Singers Should have to get a Permit to Protest Walker

Despite the conventional wisdom of politicos, a finds that only 41% of Wisconsinites think the Solidarity Singers should have to get a permit to protest Scott Walker, while 45% think they shouldn't have to get a permit, and 13% are not sure.

The numbers are even better among independents, where 49% don't think they should have to get a permit and only 39% think they should be required to get a permit.

The poll also found that Scott Walker's job approval numbers are slightly underwater by a 48% to 49% margin.  In addition, in polling against largely unknown democratic opponents, Walker could not get above 50% against any of them.
