[img_assist|nid=451983|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=267|height=300]Of all the governors that Politifact has rated at least 10 times for truthfulness, Scott Walker has the dubious distinction of being the most untruthful. Only 23% of Walker's 72 statement were rated "true" or "mostly true," while 77% were rated "half true," "mostly false," "false" or "pants on fire."

Here's the top five:

1.) Scott Walker, WI (23%)

2.) Rick Perry, TX (27%)

3.) Rick Scott, FL (31%)

4.) Lincoln Chafee (36%)

5.) Chris Christie (38%)

This is the second year in a row that Scott Walker has brought home the dishonesty gold as the nation's least truthful governor.

And the love for Walker doesn't stop there. In a similar ranking that came out last week, Walker was ranked one of the worst half dozen governors in country by the Center for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington.

In addition, Walker may be considered a second or third tier 2016 presidental candidate, but when it comes to distortion, he narrowly edges out the Macarthysque Ted Cruz and Paul "I ran a three hour marathon" Ryan.

1.) Scott Walker, WI (23%)

2.) Ted Cruz, TX (24%)

3.) Paul Ryan, WI (26%)

4.) Rick Perry, TX (27%)

5.) Mike Huckabee (31%)

6.) Howard Dean (34%)

7.) Joe Biden (42%)

8.) Marco Rubio, FL (43%)

9.) Hillary Clinton (46%)

10.) Rand Paul (61%)

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time he has been accused of being untruthful.  Several U.S. Representatives asked for a perjury investigation of Walker's 2011 congressional testimony.  And, despite Walker's repeated claims that he wasn't aware of tax payer resources being used to power his 2010 governor campaign, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Walker was "implicated" and "intertwined" in the Joe Doe investigation when prosecutor Bruce Landgraff intimated that Walker was well-aware of the wrong-doing in the sentencing of his aide Kelly Rindfleisch.  (Of course, falsely claiming ignorance is the midst of a scandal is nothing new for Walker.)

The funny thing about Walker, though, is that despite hard evidence he is most certainly not truthful, he incessantly brags about his honesty, how he learned to be a straight shooter from his minister father and... did he he happen to mention that he's an Eagle Scout?
