Numbers always change the days after an election, as the county clerks review and double-check the election night vote totals.
Here is a summary Wispolitics reporting today:
Earlier this afternoon, Winnebago County added 244 votes for Prosser, putting him briefly in the lead by 40 votes. Then, Prosser lost 113 votes in Grant County, putting Kloppenburg in the lead by 73 votes. Then Kloppenburg got another net gain of 91 votes in Portage County, pushing her lead up to 164 votes.
Most recently, Kloppenburg just got another 12 votes from Door County, pushing her lead up to 176; 30 votes from Iowa county, pushing her lead up to 206 votes; 31 net votes for Klopp in Rusk county, pushing her total up to 237; 24 net for Klopp in Vernon county, pushing her total up to 261; 62 net votes for Klopp in Shawano county pushing her lead up to 323.
Then... Waukesha dropped the bomb at the end of the day that they had a net gain for Prosser of 7,582, putting Prosser ahead by 7,259.
So far the size of the adjustments to the election night numbers have gone somewhat proportional to the size of the county, there is alot of expectation that Dane and Milwaukee will have similarly large adjustments to there numbers, so sit tight.
