Nobody's Senator But Washington Lobbyists: Johnson Asking Lobbyists to Repay him for his Supposed Self-Financed Campaign

Riverboat ring your bell, it didn't take long for so-called "outsider" Ron Johnson to cozy up to Washington lobbyists.

First Rojo hires a lobbyist to be his chief of staff, now he's literally asking them to pay him back for the money he spent on his own campaign:

Sen.-elect Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who unseated Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.), is holding a “Debt Retirement Lunch” next week with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.).

The Dec. 9 luncheon will take place at the National Republican Senatorial Committee headquarters, according to an e-mail invitation obtained by Roll Call. The invitation listed the donation levels as: Host: $5,000; Sponsor: $2,500 PAC; and Attend: $1,000 PAC/$500 Personal

I guess Rojo was right when he called the money he was spending on the campaign an "investment"-- who knew he would get such a quick turn-around on his investnment!
