New BLS Jobs Report: Illinois's Dem Gov Again Outpaces Walker in Monthly Job Growth

Scott Walker has made "we don't want to end up like Illinois" a central theme of his governorship.  You know... Illinois... that netherworld to the south with no jobs, no future?

Outside the Fitzwalkerstan echo chamber, however, the reality is that Gov. Quinn has actually created more jobs than Walker and he's done it with shared sacrifice and without tearing the state apart with union-busting.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statisitcs, from February to March Illinois increased its civilian labor force by .62%, while Wisconsin lagged slightly behind with a jobs growth over the same period of .56%.

Admittedly, these numbers are very close, but the amount of heartache and strife that Walker has caused in Wisconsin compared to Quinn is obviously miles apart.

As the Vermont Governor recently told Walker, "you can do more with maple syrup than vinegar."

By the way:  Vermont's jobs numbers are also about the same as Wisconsin.
