The Greater Wisconsin Political Fund began airing a new television ad statewide today that focuses on Scott Walker’s continuing pattern of deception and dishonesty. The ad highlights how Walker concealed his plans to attack collective bargaining rights during the 2010 campaign, claimed we needed to cut education but then gave out huge corporate tax breaks, and now refuses to answer publicly questions about his role in the growing John Doe scandal.
“The issue next Tuesday should be which candidate can be trusted to lead Wisconsin. Whether it is being dishonest about his plans to destroy collective bargaining rights, being misleading about the need to cut education spending, or stonewalling about his role in the John Doe scandal, Scott Walker has proven he cannot be trusted to tell the truth, “ stated Michelle McGrorty, executive director of the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund. “Unless we replace Walker next Tuesday, the deception and division will continue and nothing will change.”
