After all of the back and forth about how real some of the political TV commercials have been -- what state are they shot in, are those real people actors, or (gasp!) union members? -- here's a piece of video that makes no bones about it.
Ed Thompson's campaign for the State Senate is so frugal that not only is he airing a spot that looks like it was shot on a cell phone, but uses a stock image of a boy with a chicken taken from iStockphoto without paying for it, and just runs it in the ad, iStockphoto logo superimposed and all.
