Exit Poll Shocker: 58% Say Local Economy Worsened or Stayed the Same Under Walker

Despite Governor Walker's claims that last Tuesday's narrow election victory was somehow a mandate, the reality is that most voters gave him failing grades in the :

  • 58% think the economy in their area has worsened or stayed the same under Walker and 53% think Wisconsin's overall economy has stayed the same or gotten worse under Walker.
  • 52% said Obamacare was either "about right" or "didn't go far enough" and Walker's approve/disapprove for his implementation of Obamacare is 48% to 49%.
  • 52% think gay marriage should be legal in Wisconsin.
  • 64% support raising the minimum wage.
  • 55% don't think Scott Walker would make a good president.

Yep, sounds like a mandate to me!
