Despite Governor Walker's claims that last Tuesday's narrow election victory was somehow a mandate, the reality is that most voters gave him failing grades in the exit polls:
- 58% think the economy in their area has worsened or stayed the same under Walker and 53% think Wisconsin's overall economy has stayed the same or gotten worse under Walker.
- 52% said Obamacare was either "about right" or "didn't go far enough" and Walker's approve/disapprove for his implementation of Obamacare is 48% to 49%.
- 52% think gay marriage should be legal in Wisconsin.
- 64% support raising the minimum wage.
- 55% don't think Scott Walker would make a good president.
Yep, sounds like a mandate to me!
