When Chris Rickert isn't incoherently rambling twice a week in the state journal, he spends a great deal of his time trolling facebook. Moments ago he equated Blogging Blue-- a liberal site that gets no funding from an outside group and whose writers are unpaid-- with the MacIver Institute, a rightwing group that get's millions from the Koch brothers and other right wing deep pockets and whose writers are paid handsomely to spin their rightwing agenda.
Most importantly, MacIver is a Republican spin machine masked as a nonpartisan 501(c)3 charity, while Blogging Blue clearly holds themselves out as a leftwing outfit and has no non-profit charade going on.
Of course, 99.9% of reporters in Wisconsin know these distinctions... except for our special friend, Chris Rickert:
