Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele doesn't get to hire a lot of staff, but he's making some good decisions on the hires he does have.
First he named George Aldrich, longtime Russ Feingold staffer, as chief of staff, and now has added Jeff Bentoff, who combines pollcy and public relations knowhow, as his deputy. So far, so good.
One question: Eleven months till the next election. Who's planning for that?
