Sometimes, all I know is what I read on the blogs.
Case in point: Blogging Blue reported on Monday that the US Senate had sent Louis Butler's judicial appointment back to the White House -- a story of some import in Wisconsin.
It wasn't exactly a case of investigative reporting. The information first appeared in a Dec. 24 online Washington Post story, which was subsequently reported Dec. 27 on a right-wing blog.
The Journal Sentinel got around to reporting it in Wednesday's paper., a mere six days after the Post's report.
