So the Republican rhetoric is that the Walker budget was all about creating jobs and a better business climate in Wisconsin.

But when asked to identify any jobs created in her district as a result, Alberta Darling drew a total blank.  The Dem party's release:

Speaking at the Milwaukee Newsmakers luncheon, Alberta Darling on Tuesday was unable to name a single job created in the 8th State Senate District as a result of the GOP’s radical legislative session.

When asked by a participant if she could name a single company that added a single job in her district, Darling was unable to produce even one company that created jobs as a result of her policies.

“We’ve said all along that Scott Walker and his legislative lapdogs have been giving the lie on job creation,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Tuesday.

“Now we get confirmation, from no less than the author of Scott Walker’s jobs-killing budget, of what we already know to be true – this Republican Party has been so intent on ramming through its extremist wishlist of right-wing legislation that they couldn’t be bothered to create the jobs they promised us. Next week’s recall elections are our chance to reclaim the State Senate and finally go about keeping our promises to Wisconsin’s working families.”
