Frigg - Norrsken

Folk, fiddles, and fun come to Eau Claire on Sunday. We were planning on heading on over to the cities next week to see Frigg at the Cedar Cultural Center. But this afternoon I was looking at (embarrasingly, my own) calendar on the site and realized they are playing in Eau Claire on Sunday.  Free and open to the public at Schofield Auditorium at UWEC.

Combining deep Finnish folk roots with a lot of swinging music and fun, Frigg is always a joy to see and listen to.  Here's some sample video of them playing in Helsinki recently.  I guarantee that if you love music you will enjoy this show. More information at the link below the video.

This will be one in a grand series of wonderful concerts at UW-Eau Claire in the past few months - I must find time to tell you all how wonderful they were - maybe next week.
