Steve is a web designer and has recently retired from running the hosting and development company Cruiskeen Consulting LLC. In his spare time he makes beer and wine, and has a life-long interest in music of all types. Cruiskeen Consulting LLC is the parent company of Wis.Community, and publication of this site  continues after his retirement. Steve has had a long career in IT, with a particularly odd emphasis on doing computing support for High Energy Particle Physics. Steve was previously the lead UNIX Administrator at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, but has also worked as a consultant with many companies large and small, as well as working at several of the University of Wisconsin campuses. 

His particular skills include web developing and hosting, music (particularly 60-70's popular music and opera -- that is eclectic enough).
