UWEC Cohen and Blugold Quartets/Bias Inside Us Art Series

UW-Eau Claire Professor of Music Tulio Rondón leads two student string quartets, the Eileen Phillips Cohen String Quartet and the Blugold String Quartet, in a performance of the music of Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-Georges (1745-1799). The composer, who was from the Caribbean Island of Guadaloupe, was the son of an enslaved woman of African descent and a wealthy French plantation owner.
