University Symphony Orchestra Concert | WisCommunity

The University Symphony Orchestra is a select ensemble of 70-80 musicians who are both music major/minor and non-music major students. You will feel the passion of conductor, Nobuyoshi Yasuda, as he leads the students in the performance. The orchestra is known for its dramatic performances of symphonic classics of the 19th and 20th centuries. The program includes:José Pablo Moncayo: HuapangoJoaquin Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez, featuring Guitar Professor, Felipe Vargas Magdaleno, Guitar solo Dmitri Shostakovich: Symphony No. 9 in E-flat major, op. 70 As of March 12, 2022, Pablo Center has lifted our COVID-19 Visitor Protocols.
