Pizza Pi Night

On October 20th at 7:00pm, SACM will be hosting a Pizza Pi Night featuring Raspberry Pi single-board computers and free pizza for members. Raspberry Pis are low power ARM-based computers that fit nearly into an Altoids tin and are great for home automation, robotics, and more! We'll be demonstrating how to get started with a Raspberry Pi and doing some work with Sonic Pi, a code-based music creation platform. Pis, software, and everything else you'll need is provided by SACM for the night. Membership costs $15 per year or $10 per semester and will get you access to a Pi for the activity and free pizza at all our meetings. Alternatively, we charge $5 per person to help cover the costs for this event. The meeting will be held in Phillips 115, the CS department teaching lab.
