Film Screening: Valentine Road

Valentine Road, a documentary feature by director Marta Cunningham, is a call to action. What began as a filmmaker's cursory exploration into the 2008 murder of a 15-year-old gender non-conforming student by their 14-year-old classmate quickly morphed into a complicated dive into white supremacy, queerphobia, and the disturbing tendency to victim blame targets of violence.
