University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Events

Juneteenth, which is free and open to the public, will bring together area residents to celebrate their commitment toward a more united community enriched by its diversity. The event also will include food, music, activities for children and guest speakers.

The keynote speaker will be Sarah Ferber, associate director of Chippewa Valley EXPO. Rep. Jodi Emerson and Rep. Kathy Bernier have tentatively agreed to speak.

This year’s musical guest will be Irie Sol.

Eau Claire's 2019 Juneteenth celebration will held at Carson Park's Pine Pavilion.
