About the ProjectThe WiLD Project has been launched to fundamentally do things differently—not pressing the reset button repeating what’s always been done and expecting different results. This is a project rooted in the core theory, if we make an intentional and ongoing investment in our state’s greatest resource—our people—this is our best opportunity to influence meaningful change. Growler Guys is an interesting concept. They sell a very large number of beers, ciders, and meads on tap. The taps range wildly in price, and are always rotating so you can always surprise yourself when you go there.  I have had some delicious pours at Growler Guys and I am particularly impressed that they always have a very nice selection of ciders on tap from around the country. They now also serve Komucha. See the link below for what is on tap today.

Our RootsWith its roots in farmland protection since 1988, by the time Wisconsin Farmland Conservancy had changed its name to West Wisconsin Land Trust in 2002, over 4,500 acres of farms, forests and open space had been protected. The statewide emphasis of saving the family farm gave way to a mission of protecting open space in an approximately 10-county area of western Wisconsin.
The WLFN is a collection of individuals and organizations (hopefully you) that all share a common vision for Wisconsin: a state that offers communities and businesses a local food system that supports sustainable farms of all sizes, a strong infrastructure for those farms and supporting food business to thrive, and affordable access to healthy locally grown food for ALL Wisconsin residents. If you support this vision and are working toward such a Wisconsin – then you are a part of the Wisconsin Local Food Network.
