Administration loses GITMO case

The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 this morning that the Bush administration and the military have no right to prosecute 300 prisoners held at Guantanamo.  This is yet another blow to the Bush Administration&;s plans to hold and prosecute enemy combatants.  The full details are not yet clear on this, but the court ruled this morning that the prisoners have the right to a civilian trial. This is the third ruling against the prosecution of enemy combatants.

The rule of law is making a comeback.
